Emergency
In any life-threatening emergency, call 999 immediately.

Fire
If you discover a fire:
- Alert everyone in the house and evacuate immediately
- Call 999
- Do not re-enter the building
Fire extinguisher — located beside the fireplace in the living room
Fire blanket — beside the gas hob in the kitchen
Smoke detectors — fitted on every floor
Carbon monoxide detectors - near fireplace and near gas hob
Please don't use the extinguisher unless you are confident doing so and the fire is very small. Your safety comes first.

Gas Leak
- Do not operate any switches or flames
- Open windows and doors
- Evacuate the property
- Shut off the gas at the meter in the front garden
- Call National Gas Emergency on 0800 111 999

Water Leak
- The water stopcock is at the back of the cupboard to the right of the cooker
- Call Ben on the number above

Power Cut

Check if neighbouring properties are also affected. If so, report to National Grid on 105.

If the outage is isolated to the cottage, check the fuse board — located in Bedroom 1 corner cupboard.
