Living Room
The heart of the cottage. Two leather sofas, a wood burning fireplace, a stable door onto the patio and a spiral staircase that makes arriving on any floor feel like a small event. When the projector screen drops from the ceiling and the surround sound comes on, it becomes something else entirely.
Heating
On the counter between the kitchen and the living room, you will find the thermostat. If you are too cold, just turn it and the warmth will come.
Cinema Screen
⚠️ Warning — please read step 2 carefully before you begin.
- Find the screen handle and hook, located next to the beam
- Pull the screen down slowly and hook it onto the dresser handle — the screen is spring-loaded and will retract quickly if released
- Use the remote control instructions below to operate the projector
Remote Control
1. Press top-right button to turn on cinema
2. Wait while the projector wakes up and connects (60 seconds)
3. If the screen stays black with only the writing ‘HDMI1’, press up and down until the screen comes awake.
5. Select the app you want to watch
6. If watching Netfllix, please use the ‘Guest’ profile
Games Chest
In the chest to the right of the main cupboard and under the counter, you will find many popular board games: Risk, Pandemic, Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit etc.
Garden Cushions
In the little chest is where we keep cushions for the outdoor chairs along with spare blankets for chilly nights.
