Tablehurst Biodynamic Farm
Tablehurst is a community-owned biodynamic farm on the edge of the Ashdown Forest in Forest Row, and one of the most special places to shop for food in the area. The farm shop sells their own meat, vegetables, raw milk, heritage bread and organic produce — almost all of it grown or raised on site. The café is open six days a week, and the farm itself is free to walk around.

Plawhatch Biodynamic Farm
Plaw Hatch is a community-owned biodynamic farm near Sharpthorne on the edge of the Ashdown Forest, and sister farm to Tablehurst. The farm shop sells their own vegetables, meat, eggs and dairy — including raw milk, cream, yoghurt and cheese made on site. People travel from miles around for the raw milk alone. The farm is open to visitors and worth the trip.

The Village Bakery is a traditional bakery in the heart of Groombridge, open six days a week and baking everything from scratch. Sausage rolls, Bakewell tarts and a changing range of homemade goods. It's the kind of place that is genuinely difficult to walk past.
